This revolutionary alarm clock honestly changed my life. I know a statement like that may sound pretty heavy but it’s true! Before I invested in one of these cool gadgets I use to wake up grumpy, angry, and a complete mess. I was haunted by the morning beep, beep, beep.
My regular alarm clock was public enemy number one as far as I was concerned. I hated that loud and ear-piercing noise that violently ripped me out from my dreams every morning. I was introduced to the Sunlight Clock by a friend. When I first saw it I thought it was the silliest thing I had ever seen in my life. And I couldn’t believe this silly gadget could wake someone up completely on silent. I didn’t think a light, even if it was a bright and intense light, could wake up a sleeping log like myself.
My friend who introduced me to the Sunrise Alarm Clock convinced me that it would allow me to wake up feeling totally rested, rejuvenated, and energized. A pretty tall order I thought but I was willing to give it a shot. I ordered a good Sunrise Clock or Dawn Simulator as it is also known as over the Internet and a few days later it arrived in the post. My wake up adventures was about to begin…
Now I must admit at first it took a few days to get used to the alarm and I had to rely on the back-up alarm but once my body started to “remember” that this is the way it actually likes to be woken up via light rather than the sound I started waking up right on cue.
It also takes a couple of days to find the ideal setting for your Sunrise Clock. I found that it was best for me to set it to gradually brighten over a period of 30 minutes (most clocks have the option from 0 – 90 minutes), then at my desired wake up time the light from the Sunrise Alarm Clock was at its absolute brightest and I would be wide awake and alert. But like I said you need to play around with it for best results. And during this time set the back-up alarm just in case.
It has now been years since I started to use this wonderful wake up light alarm clock and I have not looked back ever since. I feel alive during the morning, totally refreshed, energized, and ready to take on the world. And the great thing is, this feeling tends to last from morning to night!
